搅拌机构是由水平安置的双圆槽形拌筒与两根按相反方向转动的搅拌轴和其上安装的搅拌叶片组成的。搅拌叶片的作用半径是相互交叉的,叶片与轴中心会连成一定角度,并且前后上下都会错开一定的空间。所以当搅拌轴开始转动时,叶片一方面要带动着混合料在两个拌筒内轮番地作圆周运动,上下翻滚,同时还要在搅拌叶片相遇或重叠的部位,混合料在两轴之间的共域相互交换体位;另一方面推动混合料沿着搅拌轴方向,不断地从一个旋转平面向另一个旋转平面运动。
